1. Scope and Acceptance

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the SaaS platform pdftables.io (“Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

These Terms apply to both business customers (B2B) and consumers (B2C).

2. Description of the Service

pdftables.io provides an online platform for extracting tables from PDF documents and exporting them into structured formats such as XLSX, CSV, and JSON.

The Service is provided as a cloud-based software solution and may be accessed via web interface or API.

3. Account Registration

• An account is required to use the Service.
• You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activities conducted through your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload, process, or distribute illegal content.
• Violate applicable laws or third-party rights.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or misuse the Service or its infrastructure.
• Reverse engineer or attempt unauthorized access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Availability and Service Levels

The Service is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, specific uptime levels, or error-free operation. Maintenance, updates, or technical issues may temporarily affect availability.

6. Subscription, Pricing, and Billing

• The Service may offer free and paid subscription plans.
• Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the billing period.
• Payments are processed via Stripe.

7. Cancellation and Account Termination

• You may cancel your subscription at any time with effect at the end of the current billing period.
• You may delete your account at any time.
• No refunds are provided for unused subscription periods.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations, abuse, or non-payment.

8. User Content and Responsibilities

You retain full ownership of all documents and data you upload.

• You are solely responsible for the legality and accuracy of uploaded content.
• You must ensure you have the rights to process any uploaded documents.

9. Data Processing and Improvement Use

Uploaded data is processed solely to provide the Service. We will only use data for product improvement, analytics, or training purposes if you explicitly provide consent. Such consent may be configurable within your account settings.

10. Intellectual Property

All rights to the Service, including software, design, and trademarks, remain with Softwareservice Fuhrmeister. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during an active subscription.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Service is provided without warranties of any kind.
• We are not liable for data loss, incorrect extraction results, or business interruptions.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Liability for damages is limited to cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence, unless mandatory legal provisions require otherwise.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Softwareservice Fuhrmeister from any claims arising from your use of the Service, including violations of these Terms or applicable laws.

13. Modifications to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be published on this page. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. For business customers, the place of jurisdiction shall be the registered seat of the Service Provider, where legally permissible.
